Church Anniversary - Saturday, October 23, 2010
Save the Date: The Church Anniversary will be held on Saturday, October 23rd. Worship Service at 3:30 pm, with dinner banquet at Jing Star Restaurant afterwards.
Church Retreat - August 13 - 15, 2010
Please join us and The Rev. Mary Grambsch at the Church Retreat, Friday August 13 - Sunday, August 15. Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center.
Jubilee Youth Chorale - Wicked
Come learn the score from the Broadway musical, Wicked. A performance will be scheduled for late August. Fridays, 5;45 pm, July 9 - August 27. $35. For students age 6+
Jubilee Summer Camp - Grades K - 8
Join us for Jubilee Summer Camp - July 6 - August 20 at Church of Our Savior.
Sunday School resumes in the Fall
Sunday School Semester ends on Sunday, June 27th. Sunday School will resume on September 12th. Children are encouraged to come to service during the summer. Activities will be provided in church.

Church Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 31st, immediately following the church service. We will be electing 3 new Vestry members. The 2010 Budget will be passed at that meeting. All members are requested to attend.
Chinese New Year Celebration
Chinese New Year begins on February 14th and lasts for 15 days. There are many festivities in Chinatown during those two weeks. Join us on Sunday February 21st for our Chinese New Year Potluck Celebration. Sample specialty foods found only during this celebration. Sunday School will be engaging in special arts and crafts for the occasion. For information, please email us at info@oursaviorny.org.
Donations for Haiti
Church of Our Savior is taking up a collection for Relief efforts in Haiti. All checks may be made payable to Episcopal Church of Our Savior and sent to 48 Henry Street, New York, NY 10002. 100% of all donations will be sent to the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, through the Diocese of New York. Our first collection will be sent January 31st. We thank you for your generosity.

We celebrate birthdays with cake and fanfare, the first Sunday of every month during luncheon fellowship. Join us.
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday, February 17th marks the first day of Lent. We encourage you to begin the Lenten season with an Ash Wednesday service. Most are held around noon time. In the absence of a Priest, Our Savior will not have a service. Instead, we encourage you to attend the services at our neighboring Episcopal Church, St. Augustine's on 292 Henry Street. Their Ash Wednesday Service will be held at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 7:00 pm.

Bishop F. Grein Jubilee Community Center
The Bishop Richard F. Grein Community Center is the first Asian American Jubilee Community Center established.
We believe in Christ’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. Church of Our Savior has sought to be a safe and welcoming place for people of the Chinatown community since it began as a mission in 1973. Over the years we have opened and made available our building for various programs to benefit the community.
